I think I love twilight because it feels like a secret. Like I’m accessing part of the day we mostly let pass.
Nature moves so gradually we don’t get to see it actually happen — like when flowers bloom or seasons change — so I love the moments just before the greens turn green, before the yellows wake up across the fields, and quite literally before the first roosters crow.
Anyways, I woke up at 4:58 and decided to go watch the sunrise.
I couldn’t find a single blog post or yelp review of “best places to watch the sunrise” in River Falls.
So instead I found myself out on a time sensitive exploration, digital compass in hand, feeling a bit wild and reckless on a rustic road, wondering how I started east-ish and ended up west, chasing the sunrise.
